Are flights included into the trips package?

No, you are responsible for your own airfare. I recommend flying into Rio de Janeiro (GIG) Airport.

Do I need to bring a proof of vaccination when entering Brazil?

At this time (August ‘25) COVID vaccinations are not mandatory for EU citizens entering Brazil. However, checking the latest requirements via your government to avoid entry issues upon arrival is advised.

Do I need a visa to enter Brazil?

Depending on where you are coming from. For Europeans you don’t need to submit a visa application, as you will receive a 3-month tourist visa upon arrival.

How is the airport pick up arranged?

The airport at Rio can be pretty overwhelming and even though Uber is commonly used, the waiting time can be very long and the wifi at the airport doesn’t always work. Therefore, airport transfer is included within the package, providing you a smooth ride after your long flight. There will be 2 transfers, around midday and afternoon. Please share your arrival time so I can fit you in.

What should I bring?

Good vibes & good energy :) But more seriously;

• Summer clothes that fit temperatures between 25 - 35 degrees

• Sport clothing (leggings/shorts)

• Beach wear, flip-flops

• Closed shoes, such as sneakers

• Sunglasses

• An extra phone 

• Fanny pack or money belt

Which meals are included?

A welcome dinner, rooftop BBQ, and snacks during the food tour are included. Other evenings you are free to explore the delicious Brazilian cuisine. Tips & hotspots will be shared with the group before arrival.

Do I need travel insurance?

While travel insurance is not mandatory, it’s highly recommended obtaining comprehensive worldwide travel insurance that covers medical emergencies, trip cancellations, and other unforeseen circumstances. I have used ‘World Nomads’ & ‘ANWB’ before.

How do I get around in Rio de Janeiro?

Uber is the easiest and safest way to travel in Rio. However, traffic can be a pain in the *ss. You can also make use of the metro, which is fast and cheap. If you have any questions, I am happy to support you!

With whom will I be travelling?

 I like to keep the group intimate, therefore, the group size will consist of max. 13 women between the age of 25 - 45. A pre-holiday meet up will be arranged in Amsterdam to already get to know your new crew.

Can I join solo?

Absolutely! This trip is especially made for those who enjoy travelling alone but like to celebrate carnaval / explore Rio de Janeiro with other women.

What is the difference if I travel and book everything by myself in Rio?

Costs could go up easily and quality downwards. Staying in Rio during carnaval is very expensive, you can stay in a hostel, sleep in a dorm with 12 others for €100 p.n. Trips can be booked separately, but it is always good to know who to talk to, because scams sometimes do happen. Talk to me if you are planning to book anything outside of the trips’ activities, so I can make sure you get the best deal.

Do I need to arrive and depart at a specific date / time?

Our girls trip meet & greet will take place on Saturday 31 January at 20:00, make sure you have arrived and checked into the villa before that.

Do you offer payment plans?

Yes! To confirm your spot, we ask you to pay a deposit at the time of booking. Following, you can either make use of a 2-month payment plan through our booking system or pay the full price. Please note that your balance must be paid off one month prior to the retreat start date.

How is safety ensured during the trip?

Safety is our top priority. Participants will receive safety guidelines and emergency contact information upon arrival. While like any destination, Brazil has areas that require caution, our girls trip is organized in safe areas and we provide guidance to ensure your well-being during your stay.

Can I extend my stay after the girls trip?

While the girls trip has fixed dates, you are welcome to extend your stay in Rio de Janeiro at your own expense. Our team can provide recommendations for additional activities and accommodations if needed.

How about internet access?

Yes, our villa will have access to Wi-Fi. However, please note that internet connectivity outside of the villa may depend on your cellular plan. Setting up a local ESIM is the easiest way to stay connected and I am happy to help you!

What if I have a special dietary?
